Marathon / November 01 to November 30
To salute the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces, DRC is offering free admission to veterans and current military service personnel and a guest for the month of November. Simply present military identification cards or other proof of military service upon arrival. Enjoy fun-filled, educational narrated demonstrations throughout the day and a variety of exciting interactive programs.

Key West Heritage House presents a series of cultural offerings that bring to light the memorable years of the Great Depression through art, lectures, walking tours and an oral history film documentary. Tonight's special exhibit includes recently restored Depression-era works created by WPA artists, as well as other local artists of the time. Open 6:30 p.m., suggested donation at door $10.

A Taste of Wine and Music

Music festival is hosted by the nonprofit Pigeon Key Foundation, whose mission is to promote Florida history, environmental education and research. Festival runs from noon - 5 p.m., free admission (donations encouraged), ferry leaves from Pigeon Key Gift Shop & Visitor Center.

Key West / November 15 to February 14
The first in a series of tours to be offered every second Saturday through February. Lead by local history guides, the walking tour will lead participants on a journey through Old Town Key West to discover the works of WPA artists and the stories behind the art. Tours at 10 a.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 15, Dec. 13, Jan. 10 and Feb 14 at Key West Heritage House, 410 Caroline St. The cost is $20. Tickets will be sold the morning of each tour.

Come and observe the Pleiades, the Andromeda galaxy (M31), double stars Albireo and Almach, a globular cluster, an open cluster and a planetary nebula (remnant of a dead star). Keys GLEE Overseas Highway Cleanup & Recycling Fair
